A new festival was born in Zalacsány: Örvényesvölgy Festival will start in 2023

On two weekends in June, 9-10 and 16-17, in a stunning natural environment, in the
panoramic valley of Zala hills, Örvényesvölgy awaits everyone with unique concerts and
programs! After the multiple Grammy award winner Al Di Meola and the Italian soul king
Mario Biondi, who previously performed here, the organizers are preparing many surprises
in 2023.
The programs of the first weekend revolve around Hungarian traditions and Hungarian folk
music for 2 days, with rich children 39s programs, special concerts, and a dance hall in the
evenings.
On the second weekend, the focus is on international performers, 5 international
performers
 will come to Zalacsány, including the greatest of jazz, soul, blues and electro-
swing.
The 35-year-old, Grammy-winning GIPSY KINGS led by Diego Baliardo will perform at the
festival on June 16. The band comes to the forest edge stage with 7 guitars, a 12-member
band and hot flamenco, salsa and pop tunes. The performers of the hits "Bamboleo", "Baila
Me", "Volare", "Djobi, djoba" and many other songs known around the world have released
13 music albums, received numerous Grammy nominations and are still active in concerts
today.


CSÍK ZENEKAR will perform in Örvényesvölgy on Saturday, June 10. Since 1988, the Kossuth
Prize-winning Hungarian orchestra has been one of the key players in Hungarian folk music.
They include local folk musicians and folk dancers in their Zalacsány show.


KEVIN DAVY WHITE comes from London, in 2022 he was chosen as the UK Singer and
Songwriter of the Year, his songs and performances are followed by masses, in 2022 he
performed with Simply Red and Texas at the biggest English festivals, in 2023 he will perform
with Lionel Richie. The musician, who writes songs from the soul, blues and more popular

music worlds, will release a new album in the spring of 2023, which he will present with his
band in Zalacsány.


DELADAP, comes from Austria, they mix progressive jazz music with swing, manouche,
electronic and folk foundations in a frenzied production that makes the audience dance
continuously. They are also preparing a secret surprise for the Hungarian audience, which
will be revealed at the band's concert on June 17.


"The roster is not final, we will soon announce new international and domestic performers,
with several special jazz concerts, including real delicacies. The invitation of our international
performers is thanks to the support of the 2023 Veszprém-Balaton European Capital of
Culture Program.

owner of Pálos Resort, which provides the venue for the festival.

The festival can be visited free of charge for children under 12 years of age, and we welcome
dogs on a leash for free at our concerts.

ATTENTION! The venue of the concerts is 2-3 km away from the public parking lots. On the
weekend of June 16-17, buses will run on the route, for which tickets can
be purchased in advance here.
