After a gap of 7 years, we are organizing the Woodstock festival of the Kiskunság, i.e., the

SZ.A.R. festival. The name will change to Szabadszállás Rock Festival, but the vibe and the

attitude will be the same as before. The first Szabadszállás Amateur Rock festival took place

in 2005, which was followed by a total of 10 other unforgettable music events. In more than

10 years, it has become one of the oldest music festivals in the region, which was last held in

2015. In the social media and the press this event is characterized by the name "Kiskunsági

Woodstock" due to its unique and special atmosphere. The festival has always been dreamt

and organized by local patriots with cooperation and volunteer work – they intend to do

something precious for the city. In 2022, under the leadership of the Kultúrkapocs Egyesület,

a team of nearly 20 people came together, who will organize the festival again after an 8-year

break, which changed its name to Szabadszállás Rock Festival in 2023.
