The 11th edition of Primanima World Festival of First Animations takes place between October 11th and 14th, in Budaörs, Hungary (the suburb of Budapest).
The venue is the Jókai Mór Cultural House, the BABtér and the Zichy Major. In addition to film screenings for adults, teens and children, there will be workshops, masterclasses and parties. This year, we will continue our Primanima Academy professional programme, and bring a new competition programme: the Silhouettes sections will feature experimental, provocative and divisive, subversive and unconventional animated shorts.
Primanima Jumpstart is the permanent international animation workshop of Primanima, its Contemporary Animation Horizons programme started in August in collaboration with Animafest Cyprus. The second part will be at the 11th Primanima, where young artists from Cyprus, Lebanon, Turkish Cypriot, Israel, Italy and Hungary will participate in workshops.
