Microcosmos presented by Gosia Rozalska (PL)

On the stage of improvisational theatre, it's easy to magnify things previously thought insignificant and suddenly bring them to the fore. Between scenes, we glide effortlessly from one dimension to another, suddenly leap great distances in time and space, play past and future versions of ourselves, or even let our emotions come together in one scene. Objects and intentions speak, the gates of heaven or hell open. The infinite play and the generosity of improvisation are the engine of this show, created in international collaboration.

Afterparty presented by Andrew Hefler (US/HU)

We see a wonderful party where everyone is having a great time. Interesting conversations, clinking glasses, fun and frolic. But what happens when the party is over, the doors are closed and everyone goes home? What do people talk about when they get home?

In the show we meet three couples who have come home from the same party. Some satisfied, some drunk, some disappointed... Through improvised scenes we get a glimpse into the lives of these six people, their complicated affairs, their relationships, their feelings for each other, even across great distances in time and space. In this long, improvised performance, the stories and motivations of the characters are born in the moment on stage and filled with meaning.

The first V4 Impro Theatre Mini Festival is bringing together improvisers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. These 2 shows are the result of their collaboration and a joint creative process.
