Hortobágy Equestrian Days, held for the 55th time this year, have remained unchanged over the decades - the main aim is to showcase the unique pastoral culture of the World Heritage site. This year's Equestrian Days will also be a meeting of the 'puszta' riders, as six of the representatives of the equestrian spectacle admired by thousands will be among the performers at the Pusztai Horse Carriage programme! On Saturday evening, 150 folk dancers will take to the stage to perform Hajdúság and Hortobágy shepherd dances under the title "There's a stone bridge built over there", led by the 70-year-old 'Hajdú Táncegyüttes'. During the three days of the event, visitors can choose from the products of more than 60 craftsmen, taste typical Hortobágy shepherd's dishes, while children can enjoy a variety of fun activities in the Children's Riding Village.

Free entry for children under 6 years!
