POSTPONED! Original date: 25/04/2020

Dear Friends,

We waited as long as possible, but now we must admit that the current situation in Europe will not allow John Cleese's tour to commence as planned. His management has been working hard to find new dates for all the locations. Now we can finally share the new date for Mr Cleese’s Budapest shows and they are June 11-12, 2022. So if you have a ticket for the first show, originally planned for 24/04/2020 and then 13/06/2021, your ticket is automatically valid for the new date of 11/06/2022. And if you have a ticket for the second show, originally planned for 25/04/2020 and then 14/06/2021, your new date is 12/06/2022

Please know we are devastated by this delay just as much as you are. Hungary is really close to the opening of theaters, but based on the current regulations this upcoming June only people with a vaccination passport would be able to attend an event - thus potentially excluding a big part of our ticket buyers. And even if the situation would significantly improve in our country, this is a European tour where Mr. Cleese's management is organizing shows in multiple countries - and they are all being postponed right now.

We hope you'll stick around and wait for Mr Cleese! But we don't expect you to know this far in advance if you'll be free next year to attend, so we have a large window for you to decide, and you can ask for a refund if you decide you are no longer able to attend the event on the new date. In this case, please reach out to ugyfelszolgalat@tixa.hu until September 30th 2021!

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Please stay safe!

Your friends at Boddah and Tixa

The modern Godfather of comedy is coming to Budapest! John Cleese, the beloved British comedian, actor and screenwriter, most famous for hits such as Monty Python and Fawlty Towers and who even starred in the James Bond and Harry Potter films will be coming to Budapest in June 2022 to perform his show “Last Time to See Me Before I Die”.

The previous European tour sold out in a glance and received great reviews, and now the Hungarian fans of Mr Cleese and Monty Python finally get the chance to see him live and alive - possibly one last time!
