Join Us For Our First Black Food Festival In Budapest!
We are celebrating the second Black Food Festival in Budapest on 29 August, 2020 from 11 - 21 PM!
Location: OFF Kultur (1045 Budapest, Berni utca 1.)
★ What Is Black Food?
Black food isn’t just artificially coloured, regular food. Some of the most sought after ingredients are black: from the finest coffee, decadent dark chocolate, luscious black berries, to traditional balsamic vinegar that has been made for centuries using traditional methods. Our passion here at the Black Food Festival is to discover and share the lesser-known black foods from across the world, whether that’s boudoin noir, black macarons, or black garlic, and explore a new and unique culinary dimension.

★ Juried Competition
The Black Food Festival was born out of curiosity for international cuisines and the experimental nature of culinary minds across the globe. To pay homage to those who prefer to take the road less travelled: the risk takers, the innovators, the trailblazers, there will be a panel of gastronomy professionals on the look out for the most creative and finest products. Two exhibitors will be awarded "Black Food of Budapest 2020" and "Black Drink of Budapest 2020" prizes.
