HUNGAROTHERAPY
This year at Bánkitó, we’re Hungaro-vaccinating ourselves and diving into the long-neglected, mysterious world of our national identity politics. We’re calling it Hungarotherapy. Our aim is to get together as a community, listen to sweet tunes, watch inspiring theatre and alongside all of that, really knuckle down on what it means to be part of our nation - or of any nation. We want to examine how we can sort through and reclaim the history, the stereotypes, and the symbols that have often been used as political tools for aims we might not be as close to. We want to bring back the stories that shaped us, and we want to be able to share them as our own.
All this happening at Lake Bánk just a one hour drive from Budapest!

Ticket information
Passes are valid from 11 AM Thursday, 8th July, 2021 until 10 AM Sunday, 11th July, 2021.
Thursday day tickets are valid from 11 AM, Thursday, 8th July, 2021 until 10 AM, Friday, 9th July, 2021.
Friday and Saturday day tickets are valid from 8 AM the given day until 10 AM the next day.
The camping ticket is valid to the Bánk Campsite. The ticket is per tent and not person. With the camping ticket only 1 tent can be brought into the campsite. The camping ticket is valid from 11 AM Thursday, 8th July, 2021 until 10 AM Sunday, 11th July, 2021.
The camping pass is valid from 11 AM Thursday, 8th July, 2021 until 10 AM Sunday, 11th July, 2021. Daily camping tickets are valid from 8 AM the given morning until 10 AM the next day.
With purchasing the ticket the ticket buyer accepts the General Terms and Conditions and the Policy of the festival (http://bankitofesztival.hu/aszf/). The ticket can be exchanged to a wristband at the entrance. Tickets are non-refundable. The tickets have safety marks that will be checked at the entrance. We ask everybody to purchase their tickets only at official ticket partners as we cannot take responsibility for fake tickets. Online purchased tickets can be exchanged to wristbands at the entrance. Organizers reserve the right to make changes in the program and the location. The event will be held in bad weather as well!
