After last year's two sold-out evenings, we cordially invite all music lovers to the II. Guitar Festival in the magical ELTE Botanical Garden. The two-day festival will take place on August 2-3, 2024. The aim of the event is to provide visitors with a unique musical experience through the world of guitar music.

August 2 (Friday)
Micha Kern (Germany): The German guitarist's playing is often described as emotional, fun, deep, funky or dreamy. Micha Kern presents his impressive compositions with charm, authenticity, and a hint of humor. Each song tells a story that paints pictures in the minds of listeners, making it almost relatable.
Tom Lumen and Stano Pocaji duo: The two virtuoso guitarists will take the stage together this evening as a duo. During their career so far, they have dazzled the public in more than 20 countries and 3 continents with their special style and impressive playing.
August 3 (Saturday)
Acoustic Guitar Caffe: Attila Libis and István Bakos have more than 30 years of musical experience behind them. On domestic and international stages, they play countless genres of acoustic music in numerous formations. They have been performing regularly as a duo since 2014, this year they also toured in the United Kingdom.
Sándor Papp: the Hungarian classical guitarist is the dean of the Béla Bartók Faculty of Music at the University of Miskolc. He regularly performs concerts both at home and abroad. Classical and Latin musical elements can also be found in his performances, and his recordings can often be heard on Bartók Rádio.
Gottfried Gferer (Austria): the Austrian guitarist is one of the best slide guitarists in Europe. He dazzles the audience with his special style combining blues and folk elements. In his characteristic world, American and European roots are mixed with modern trends. When Gottfried isn't writing new songs, he makes his own resonator guitars.
It is worth arriving earlier for the concerts so that those interested can also admire the botanical garden.
The concerts start at 7:00 p.m. on August 2, 2024 and 7:00 p.m. on August 3, 2024.

Ticket prices: day ticket in advance HUF 6,900, two-day festival ticket in advance: HUF 12,900. Day ticket on the day of the concerts, at the venue HUF 8,000.
Guitar workshop: Tom Lumen and Stano Pocaji will hold a workshop Saturday morning entitled 'Fingerstyle guitar technique and improvisation'. Participation in the course is free for those who have tickets, but due to limited places, registration is required. If you are interested in the workshop, please register at this link.
