Many people have raised their voices for the rural regions of Hungary, including the Balaton region, in their communities, settlements, on forums, (political) events and in the media. Although the observations are multifaceted and the approaches are different, the affection for the values and beauties of the countryside and concerns for its future, in a word, the love of the Hungarian countryside are common.

After the first Balaton café, where we looked at the region from an ecological point of view, this roundtable discussion will focus on the social situation and development opportunities of the Hungarian countryside, especially the Balaton region, ask relevant questions and give answers to these, and also talk about long-term viable future scenarios.
